My wife brought lunch home from this place today , my first time tasting their food . I had ElPastor and carne asada tacos and we shared a shrimp cocktail , all were outstanding . Authentic , home made and delicious . The absolute best pastor I have ever eaten . I can't wait to go back again .
You know a foreign restaurant is going to be good when the first server doesn't even speak English. This place is very good.
Wanna have authentic, this is it.. Go where Chinese go, go where Mexicans go , go where Italians for good food. DUH!!!
This place has everything you need for all your Latin cravings. One of the greatest things about this place is that you can shop for all your products so you can go home and make a homemade meal or you can sit down and eat they are very authentic food choices. I've had their soups also known as Menudo, it was delicious. Their tacos are delicious they're nachos are delicious they're Carne Asada is delicious I mean should I go on? Another thing that popped out is their Latin cheese selection. They have a whole refrigerator full of different cheeses from all over Latin America, believe me if you love cheese as much as I do and do a overload in my quesadilla you'll find the cheese here!
We have all seen a meme or heard the adage that the best places for tacos are in the baddest neighborhoods. Well, Super Mercado Las Americas in Columbus, Georgia is a great example that that particular trend of good tacos in not so good neighborhood. The restaurant is located in the back of a time worn market. The furnishings, plates, knives and forks are all bargain basement or dollar store quality and the market is located next door to a place that sells new and used tires. But the food, as the memes and adage imply, is solid. I definitely have had better, but this place produces a fine product. I found the tacos better than the pupusa in the full entrees look pretty good, as well. Service is friendly, but I would not say that it is very professional. It appears to be more that they brought in family and friends to run food out to you. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but it bears mentioning. All in all, this was a great stop for lunch.
